Maximum Weight Limit 100 Kg Skydiving Bali Safety Rules

My Bali skydiving adventure with TheSkydiveBali was an absolute rush, and I can’t recommend it enough! Their operation in Buleleng, North Bali, boasts a prime drop zone with incredible ocean views. It’s a bit of a journey – about 2.5 to 3 hours from Seminyak/Canggu and 1.5 hours from Ubud – but trust me, the panoramic vistas you get are worth every minute of the drive. The dry season, from April to October, is definitely the time to go. We had incredibly clear skies and calm winds, making for perfect jumping conditions. Morning jumps are indeed the best; the air is crisp, and the views are just pristine.

Safety First: Weight Limits and Expert Instructors

Before you even think about jumping, safety is paramount. TheSkydiveBali adheres to strict safety rules, and one of the most important is the maximum weight limit for skydiving in Bali: 100 kg (220 lbs). This isn’t just a suggestion; it’s a non-negotiable rule designed to ensure everyone’s safety during the tandem skydive. Their packages, starting at USD 1,200, are comprehensive, covering a complete tandem skydive, an expert instructor, a thorough safety briefing, and a photo/video package to capture every exhilarating moment.

The Jump: Freefall and Parachute Descent

The actual jump itself is an unforgettable experience. We launched from Pantai Kelanting on Bali’s west coast, an exclusive jump location featuring stunning black sand beaches. This operator is the only one with licensed tandem instructors, which gave me a huge sense of confidence. The freefall is an intense, heart-pounding 60 seconds, where the world just drops away beneath you. After that incredible minute, the parachute deploys, and you’re treated to a serene 4 to 5 minute descent, gently floating down while taking in the breathtaking Balinese landscape. It’s an adventure I’ll never forget, blending high-octane thrills with incredible natural beauty.

For arrangements, a specialist offering Komodo charter can coordinate this end to end.
